Unpaid phone bills? Internet no longer working?

What does this mean for my credit report?

Most likely, your credit information is still in order. A payment default is recorded in your credit report if the collection of the invoices advances into court and the district court confirms your payment obligation with a ruling. At that point, you have received a minimum of three payment reminders and one subpoena notification.

However, do not prolong the issue! Instead, agree on paying off the debt. Your telephone and internet service may be shut off due to unpaid invoices without advance notice, once you have received one payment reminder. In addition, every phase of the collection will result in additional costs for you. Learn more about the collection phases in the Did you receive mail section.
